Brighton Life

Thursday, 27 August 2015

Brighton is a lovely town, it has quirky little shops all around the lanes where you can buy your friends and family weird and wonderful gifts.

The shopping centre is great for spending even more money on gifts to treat yourself.

One thing I love about Brighton is the pier, it has rides and arcade games another way to waste more of your money! You also get a great view of the beach and everyone eating ice creams.

The lanes are quirky, cute and a great mystery. You never know what kind of shops are going to be around the corner. When I walk past ChoccyWoccyDoodah it always smells amazing and I have to make a trip to Mac even though I most likely wont buy anything.

Brighton has a great atmosphere with everyone buzzing around which means you will always have a great day there.

Have u visited Brighton?

Festival Makeup

Thursday, 20 August 2015

As it is still just about summer, lots of festivals have been going on recently, so me being a beauty addict I thought I would show you a makeup tutorial on a bronze shimmery eye look which is suitable for a festival!

To start I have already done my brows, then I went straight onto priming my eyelids. For this I used a mac paint pot in the shade 'Painterly' then using my figure I applied this all over my eyelids.

After that I got my Revolution Flawless palette (which can I just state that it was £8 and all the colours are hugely pigmented) and I mixed the shade 'Golden Night' and 'Gold Digger', these are too stunning colours and again using my figure I put this all over my lid.

Once that was done I got a medium brown from the 'Revolution Iconic 1' palette and using a small fluffy brush I blended this into my so there are no harsh lines.

Next I re-applied  'Golden Night' and 'Gold Digger' to my lid because the colour had faded slightly from all the blending.

Once again using  'Golden Night' and 'Gold Digger' I added these colours onto my lower lash line using a small thin brush. This would also be the perfect stage to add some eyeliner with a flick.

(The reason why i'm not adding eyeliner is well.. im basically terrible at it so if you have any tips I would love to hear about them in the comments!)

Finally I applied my favourite mascara which is the 'Maybelline Lash Sensational' to my top and lower lashes. This mascara makes my lashes look longer as well as slightly curling them.

I then went back to my face an did my foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer and highlight. (leave a comment below if you want to see my everyday makeup or foundation routine)

To finish this look off I applied a lipstick by Milani in the shade '26 Nude Creme', which is a beautiful nude pink colour.

Do you prefer a smokey eye or something natural?

Infallible Foundaton Review

Friday, 14 August 2015

Im am so excited to write this post about this foundation because it is, just well.. Amazing!

Well this is the L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte foundation and this is for people who have conbination to oily skin types. One thing that I just have to start off by saying is that even though the colour is slightly too dark and is more pink undertone, (but i am extremely pale!) it comes in a range of shades. I should probably tell you what colour I got! Mine is in the shade 'Porcelain'.

Luckily it has a squirty, pump, nozzle type thing which I have no idea what you would call it but it is easy to get the product out and you don't have to waste any! It is a medium consistency also it is not to thin and runny but its not as thick as a mousse. I also really like the packaging!

On the back it tells you what kind of texture it is, it tells you about the coverage and the finish also lastly it tells you a tip on how to apply it. This gives amazing coverage and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. This also only cost me £7.99 from Superdrug which is an absolute bargain considering how good it is.

One last thing I should mention is that this keeps my foundation on for the whole day and I mean a good 10 hours long without any touch-ups.

As always I hope you enjoyed this review and I would definitely recommend this foundation and let me know in the comments what your Holy Grail foundation is?

Healthy Smoothie Collab

The other day I was thinking in my head, that after reading Hello Life by Marcus Butler (I'm sure you all know him) I wanted to start doing more exercise and eating healthier.

So today I will be showing you a healthy smoothie recipe which is quick and easy to make  and as well as tasting really good, Its actually good for you!! This blog post is also a collab with my best friend IndiaJasmine who's link I will leave at the end.

Finally lets start..
(that consists of me making a mess!)

Ingredients:

♥ About 5 large Strawberries
♥ 1 Banana
♥ A handful of frozen Mango
♥ Almond Milk

On a chopping board I placed the strawberries and using a knife I cut of the green parts, I also cleaned them before doing this.

Once I had done that I put them aside and with the banana I un peeled the skin the chopped it into 4 even pieces. I then got a handful of the mango and added this onto the chopping board.

Next I put all the fruit into I little cup thing (also for the blending of my smoothie I am using my Nutri-bullet which is really recommend).

Next I fill half the cup with almond milk and then place the lid on tightly which has the blade on it. Once that is all done I put it onto the Nutri-Bullet itself and then blend it..

The smoothie should look a little like this once it's done^^

(Yes I am aware that in this picture it looks like im about to tip it and will all come out... but it didn't!) Also featuring chipped nails^^

I then poured it into a class and added a straw it is good to drink!

It is Quick, Easy and simple!

When making this you can always add in different things or swap fruit around to make it to what you like! I hope you enjoyed and Don't for get to check out India!
