Autumn has got to be one of my favourite months, don't get me wrong, i love the hot weather too however there is just something about it being cold and wearing big warm coats which i absolutely love! So today i'm going to share some things that i love about autumn!

Homeware and interior design are one of my favourite things, i love going to Ikea and picking up a few bits to go for my room i also love going on Pinterest and looking at all of the inspiration which is out there. So todays post is going to be me blabbering on about homeware and some of the things which could help you if you stuck what to do with your room!

Just under a week ago it was my birthday and so i asked on instagram if you would like to see some of the things which i got and a few people said yes, so that's what i will be sharing with you today, also these parents are from various people not just my family!

Today me and some of my family decided to go to Ikea and so i picked up a few things there and something from John Lewis so i thought i would do a mini haul on the things i brought!

Mini homeware haul

For my room I have been trying to inject a bit more grey into it and as I love buying a few new things for my room to make it more homely, I thought I  would share with you a few bits and pieces which I brought.

Road trip essentials

Going on a long car journey somewhere is always a struggle, i get so bored and being in a cramped car for like 5 hours is not fun.

Its christmsa eve!!

I can't believe its Christmas eve already, it felt like i was just opening the first day of my advent calendar yesterday!

Scents for autumn Collab

 

One of my favourite things about autumn is all the candles. I love candles all year round but autumn has got to be the best time to restock and start scenting your room! This is also a collab with India Jasmine so i will leave her link at the end!

 

 

 

Firstly I got a candle called Orange Sunshine Soda, this was from Primark and only cost me £1. i got two of these because im love the scent and I also really think the jar which they are in!

 

It has a very orangey scent and is quite strong so you don't have to burn it of too long to get your room full of the scent!

 

 

 

Next I got a candle which is just a simple vanilla scent but its copper! COPPER! I love it and goes great with my room. This also only cost me £1.50 from Primark, so it was another bargain! This was called White Flower.

 

 

 

 

Finally I got this blue candle called White Tea & Peony and I really like this scent! It is very fresh and smells a bit like shower gel but it does smell really nice. Once again this only cost me around £1.

Wow i am so bad at describing scents but all I can say is that they smell amazing!

Autumn Favourites

 

 I love everything about Autumn, the leaves, hot chocolate, candles, fairy lights..

I could go on forever.. but instead of giving you a whole list im going to share with you 5 things why I love autumn!

 

 

First is the berry lips, I love getting out old lipstick colours, ready for autumn and my favourite lipstick to wear is a berry lip. It goes well with all the colours around you. It also suits everyone!

 

One of my favourites is the 'Rimmel Moisture lipstick' in the shade '380 Dark Night' This is a beautiful, dark purple colour and is perfect for this time of year.

 

 

 

Now onto my favourite eyeshadow palette.. This has a range of amazing colours and is also great for doing smokey eyes! It is the 'Sleek I-Divine Palette' called 'Enchanted Forest'.

 

I absolutely love the name and it just great for doing plum eyeshadows! This is the ideal Autumn palette!

 

 

 

I recently purchased a new nail varnish from Tanya Burr's new collection and it is in the shade 'Duvet Day. It is a light grey/blue colour and I love wearing light colours on my nails especially because I often go for a dark lip colour and just helps lighten things up! 

 

 

 

One of my absolutely favourites is the leaves! I love how all the leaves go orange/red colour and all the trees look so pretty! It feels very Autumnal (love that word) and I love going on walks with big fluffy coats and bringing along my camera!

 

 

 

 

Finally I love all the different candles and scents, so I definitely need to go out and get some new ones soon! It always makes my room feel all cosy when I have a candle lit!

Evening Skin Care Routine





The weather is slowly becoming colder, darker and a lot more autumnal. This also means that our

skin will change as well. Over the past weeks I have changed up my skin care routine and thought it would be great to share it with you!

 

 

Once I have finally taken off all my makeup I use the Dermalogica Dermal Clay Cleanser' which is gradually clearing up my skin so would recommend if you have acne or have any troubles you want to clear up.

 

I apply this to my face and leave it for about a minute then rinse it off with warm water. I do this twice just to make sure my face is super clean and I have gotten off all my makeup.

 

 

 

Next I spray my face with the 'Dermalogica All over toner' which is from the teenage range. This closes my pores to prevent any dirt or bacteria getting in them and makes my face feel all fresh and clean!

 

 

 

 

Finally I get a small pea sized amount of the 'Dermalogica Overnight treatment' which moisturises my skin throughout the night as well as preventing any  more spots.

Autunm Q & A

Autumn and winter have got to be my favourite time of the year, I love rapping up warm and lighting so many different scented candles. So yesterday I asked on Instagram for some questions and today I will be answering them!

 

 

♥ What's your favourite fall makeup look?

 

In a couple of weeks I will be showing you my go to autumn makeup look, so be sure to keep an eye out for that.

 

 

♥Nude or Red lip?

 

I would probably have to say nude.

 

 

♥ Top 3 essentials?

 

My first one is my berry lipstick, I absolutely love wearing berry colours in autumn, next are candles I love all the scents and it makes me feel all cosy and finally is hot chocolate, its the best feeling coming home and having a nice warm hot chocolate ton warm yourself up!

 

 

♥ Would you rather make leaves crunch or be wrapped up in a blanket?

 

I think I would rather make leaves crush because I love being outside and wearing my big warm, fluffy coat!

 

 

♥ Dark lips or winged eyeliner?

 

I would love to be able to do winged eyeliner but I just can't so I would have to say berry lips.

 

 

♥ Dresses or skirts?

 

Probably skirts I don't really wear dresses that much and I have never found many which I absolutely adore.

 

 

♥ Favourite thing about Autumn?

 

Again it would have to be wearing a dark berry lip and just going on walks in the woods with all the trees being orange and being all warm.

 

 

This next question isn't very autumn related but thought I would answer it anyway!

 

♥ Do u think u would ever start a YouTube channel?

 

Hopefully I will in the future but i'm happy with just my blog at the moment.

 

 

♥ Do u prefer rain, dark clouds, hail or thunder and lightning?

 

I think I prefer dark clouds especially if i'm inside because I feel all cosy and warm.

August Favourites

 

I can't believe how quickly august has gone, it felt like yesterday was just the beginning of the month!

 

Throughout the month I have came across a few favourites along the way and would like tot share them with you!

 

 

 

 

 

Staring of with makeup I have really enjoyed using the Soap & Glory Archery 2 in 1 brow pencil. It has a pencil on one end and a brush on the other. The pencil is quite thin which means you can be very persist but its not hugely pigmented.

 

I got this from boots and was £8 but I think they r ding buy 1 get the second half price for the soap & glory collection.

 

 

 

 

 

The last beauty product is a lipstick which I have had for quite a while but have gone back to loving, Its by Milani and is in the shade 26 Nude Crème.

 

This is a beautiful nude/pink which is great for everyday use, this also only cost around £4 and I purchased mine from Amazon.

 

 

Next is a tall glass, mug type thing which is great for smoothie's or any types of drinks, I have also seen a few youtubers use this for their makeup brushes.

 

I got mine in pink but it also comes in plain white. This cost £1.70 and was from Ikea which I personally think was quite cheap!

 

 

 

 

Another item which I purchased from Ikea were these two white pots. I use these to store my makeup brush and also they were only £2!! Again very cheap..

 

 

 

Finally I have enjoyed listening to this song called 'Don't be so hard on yourself by Jess Glynne'  I not really sure why.. I guess its just the tune on the song and how it all flows together.

 

Yep great descriptive skills right there^^

Brighton Life

 

Brighton is a lovely town, it has quirky little shops all around the lanes where you can buy your friends and family weird and wonderful gifts.

 

The shopping centre is great for spending even more money on gifts to treat yourself.

 

 

 

One thing I love about Brighton is the pier, it has rides and arcade games another way to waste more of your money! You also get a great view of the beach and everyone eating ice creams.

 

 

 

 

 

The lanes are quirky, cute and a great mystery. You never know what kind of shops are going to be around the corner. When I walk past ChoccyWoccyDoodah it always smells amazing and I have to make a trip to Mac even though I most likely wont buy anything.

 

 

 

Brighton has a great atmosphere with everyone buzzing around which means you will always have a great day there.
