Festival Makeup

Thursday, 20 August 2015

As it is still just about summer, lots of festivals have been going on recently, so me being a beauty addict I thought I would show you a makeup tutorial on a bronze shimmery eye look which is suitable for a festival!

To start I have already done my brows, then I went straight onto priming my eyelids. For this I used a mac paint pot in the shade 'Painterly' then using my figure I applied this all over my eyelids.

After that I got my Revolution Flawless palette (which can I just state that it was £8 and all the colours are hugely pigmented) and I mixed the shade 'Golden Night' and 'Gold Digger', these are too stunning colours and again using my figure I put this all over my lid.

Once that was done I got a medium brown from the 'Revolution Iconic 1' palette and using a small fluffy brush I blended this into my so there are no harsh lines.

Next I re-applied  'Golden Night' and 'Gold Digger' to my lid because the colour had faded slightly from all the blending.

Once again using  'Golden Night' and 'Gold Digger' I added these colours onto my lower lash line using a small thin brush. This would also be the perfect stage to add some eyeliner with a flick.

(The reason why i'm not adding eyeliner is well.. im basically terrible at it so if you have any tips I would love to hear about them in the comments!)

Finally I applied my favourite mascara which is the 'Maybelline Lash Sensational' to my top and lower lashes. This mascara makes my lashes look longer as well as slightly curling them.

I then went back to my face an did my foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer and highlight. (leave a comment below if you want to see my everyday makeup or foundation routine)

To finish this look off I applied a lipstick by Milani in the shade '26 Nude Creme', which is a beautiful nude pink colour.

Do you prefer a smokey eye or something natural?

Infallible Foundaton Review

Friday, 14 August 2015

Im am so excited to write this post about this foundation because it is, just well.. Amazing!

Well this is the L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte foundation and this is for people who have conbination to oily skin types. One thing that I just have to start off by saying is that even though the colour is slightly too dark and is more pink undertone, (but i am extremely pale!) it comes in a range of shades. I should probably tell you what colour I got! Mine is in the shade 'Porcelain'.

Luckily it has a squirty, pump, nozzle type thing which I have no idea what you would call it but it is easy to get the product out and you don't have to waste any! It is a medium consistency also it is not to thin and runny but its not as thick as a mousse. I also really like the packaging!

On the back it tells you what kind of texture it is, it tells you about the coverage and the finish also lastly it tells you a tip on how to apply it. This gives amazing coverage and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. This also only cost me £7.99 from Superdrug which is an absolute bargain considering how good it is.

One last thing I should mention is that this keeps my foundation on for the whole day and I mean a good 10 hours long without any touch-ups.

As always I hope you enjoyed this review and I would definitely recommend this foundation and let me know in the comments what your Holy Grail foundation is?

Healthy Smoothie Collab

The other day I was thinking in my head, that after reading Hello Life by Marcus Butler (I'm sure you all know him) I wanted to start doing more exercise and eating healthier.

So today I will be showing you a healthy smoothie recipe which is quick and easy to make  and as well as tasting really good, Its actually good for you!! This blog post is also a collab with my best friend IndiaJasmine who's link I will leave at the end.

Finally lets start..
(that consists of me making a mess!)

Ingredients:

♥ About 5 large Strawberries
♥ 1 Banana
♥ A handful of frozen Mango
♥ Almond Milk

On a chopping board I placed the strawberries and using a knife I cut of the green parts, I also cleaned them before doing this.

Once I had done that I put them aside and with the banana I un peeled the skin the chopped it into 4 even pieces. I then got a handful of the mango and added this onto the chopping board.

Next I put all the fruit into I little cup thing (also for the blending of my smoothie I am using my Nutri-bullet which is really recommend).

Next I fill half the cup with almond milk and then place the lid on tightly which has the blade on it. Once that is all done I put it onto the Nutri-Bullet itself and then blend it..

The smoothie should look a little like this once it's done^^

(Yes I am aware that in this picture it looks like im about to tip it and will all come out... but it didn't!) Also featuring chipped nails^^

I then poured it into a class and added a straw it is good to drink!

It is Quick, Easy and simple!

When making this you can always add in different things or swap fruit around to make it to what you like! I hope you enjoyed and Don't for get to check out India!

Q & A *Summer Edition

Thursday, 23 July 2015

The other day I asked on my instagram some summer related questions, so today I thought I would answer a few and feel free to answer some in the comments because I would love to now!

♥What is your favourite waterproof mascara?

I don't really have any good waterproof mascaras but if you have some good ones please let me know in the comments! The only one which I do have is by a brand called Seventeen but im not a huge fan of the wand.

♥Hair up or hair down?

Normally for school in the summer, I have my hair up so it is out of my face but in the summer holiday most days I have it down.

♥Favourite Summer Memory?

One of my favourite memory's was last summer when one of my good friends came round and we got my pool out and even though it wasn't one of those massive built in pools we still had a lot of fun. It also took FOREVER to fill up we had a great time.

♥Favourite Ice cream flavour?

I'm going to have to say either caramel/vanilla or chocolate!

♥Favourite place to be when it's sunny?

Probably with some friends on the beach eating ice cream..! Or in the sea swimming!

♥If you had 3 wishes what would they be?

My first wish would be to become a successful blogger, next would be to have a pet dog and finally my last wish would be to live in a nice modern flat in Brighton with my best friend!

♥What is your go to summer outfit?

It has to be high-waisted denim shorts, black crop top, and white kimono, sandals and some sunglasses.

As always I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know where you are going in the summer holiday, as I would love to know!

Summer Essentials Collab

Friday, 17 July 2015

As it is now summer,
which you probably already know!
I thought I would start it off with some of my summer essentials. This blog post is a collab with the amazing Emsi Rose who has an amazing blog and I will leave her link at the end of my blog for you all to go check out!

I will start off with tanning.. well this is my nightmare, because I am so pale this means that I do not tan I burn instead, which not going to lie isn't the prettiest look ever. Anyway I found this which is a moisturiser but it also gradually tans you!

When I started using this I didn't think I would actually notice any difference but it works! As well as slowly give my legs/arms a nice glow it also keeps them very hydrated. I think that this is a must have if you are as pale as me and don't tan and you and purchase this from Superdrug or boots!

My next summer essential is well bronzer! Like I said I m very pale so to add some colour back into my face I use the NYC Smooth Skin bronzer which give my a nice glowy bronzed look, without looking orange!
Its not too big either so is great for keeping in your bag incase you need it in the day.

Another makeup product which is a must have for the summer is the Mac Lipstick in the shade 'Crème Cup' I also mentioned this in my June favourites because I love it that much!

It is from the Crème sheen range which means that it doesn't last as long as a matte lipstick but the advantage is that when it slowly comes off it doesn't leave you with one of those awkward lip liner affects...

Next I think most people will have and it is Sunglasses! These are great when you are sat on the beach or ...in your garden and you don't want to be blinded by the sun! Most sunglasses are massive on my head I especially love these because they have mint green on them but doesn't show up very well in the picture!

My favourite summer scent which I love is a perfume from New Look but annoyingly it doesn't have the name of it on the bottle type thing.
Anyway it has a nice sweet and well.. summery scent! I'm not quite sure how to describe it but would definitely recommend.

Okay last item, It is my new short! These are from H&M and are denim as well as being ripped. They are really comfortable and are also high-waisted! I had grown out of most of my shorts but I am now in love with these!

Finally it is the end of the post and felt like it went on forever but these are my summer essentials and I hope you enjoyed reading.

June Favourites

Thursday, 9 July 2015

I know it is already the 9th of July but I thought I would do my June favourites. I love talking about my favourites because I get to talk about the things which I have been loving this month and I get to share it with all of you amazing people!

One of the makeup products which I am in love with at the moment is a lip product. I purchased it using my birthday money and it is a Mac lipstick in the colour 'Crème Cup'. It is a beautiful light pinky, nude colour and is great for everyday. It cost £15.50 and I purchased it from House Of Fraser.

Another beauty product which I'm in love with is an eyebrow gel. It is by Maybelline and I got mine in the colour 'Transparent' but you can also get it in other colours. This makes sure that my eyebrows don't move all day and it only cost me £3.99.

Next product is to do with skincare and is the 'Benefit It's Potent' eye cream. I got this in a skincare set for my birthday so i'm not sure how much it is but I really like it! It helps reduce under eye circles and any creasing as well as keeping my under eyes feeling hydrated.

Finally I absolutely love a lush bath bomb which is called 'The Comforter' It is definitely my favourite and smells amazing!! It smells so good I just want to eat it (which I not planning on doing) and it cost me roughly around £4.

Thankyou all so much for reading and I hope you have all had a great day!
