A couple of months ago i did a blog posts about Anastasia and Freedom brow pomades to see which one was the best and because quite a lot of you seemed to like it, today i decided to do a similar post based on two concealers.
The two concealers i will be comparing are the Mac pro longwear concealer and the Urban decay Naked skin concealer. They are both quite pricy however the Mac concealer is £18 and the Urban Decay concealer is £17.50.
To begin with the I have Mac in the shade NC15 which is their lightest shade and i have the Urban decay naked skin in the shade 'Fair Neutral' which is also the lightest shade. Even though the mac one is in it's lightest shade it is still slightly darker compared to the Naked Skin, however they are quite similar.
For coverage i would say the Mac concealer has slightly better coverage when it comes to covering blemishes, however i find that it can go slightly cake when i apply it under the eyes, so it isn't the best concealer if you want to use it to highlight your under eyes.
The Urban Decay naked skin has really good coverage under the eyes without it going cakey it also has relatively good coverage for blemishes but isn't as full coverage as the Mac concealer.
Another difference between the two is that the Naked skin has an applicator where as the mac comes with a pump instead. In some cases this is good because you wouldn't get any bacteria in the tube of the mac, however for the Naked skin you can still apply it to the back of you hand then use it on a brush when applying it to blemishes.
I prefer the Urban decay applicator because i find it easier to use whereas with the mac i find that i might end up pumping out too much which would mean i would have wasted the product. The Urban Decay naked skin has 5ml of product whereas the Mac pro longwear has 9ml of product which is quite a bit more, therefore you do get more for you money.
Overall my favourite is the Urban Decay Naked Skin mainly because it gives really nice coverage and isn't too thick, however if you are looking for a really full coverage concealer i would go for the Mac pro longwear.

Great comparisons. I've only tried the MAC concealer, so I can't really compare. But it was my favourite concealer once upon a time. It is quite thick for under the eyes though. I find that applying it with a beautyblender helps to sheer it out! I definitely want to try the UD concealer as I've heard such great things about it :)
